[CES 2012] HTC has just announced the HTC Titan II, where this is the first 4G LTE Windows Phone to roll out on AT&T’s 4G LTE network. It will only be made available in the coming months to AT&T customers, where one of the main selling would be it having the largest display among Windows Phones, in addition to an advanced 16-megapixel digital camera and obviously, access to 4G LTE speeds – as long as there is network coverage, of course. Features of the HTC Titan II include a brilliant 4.7″ super LCD capacitive touchscreen display, HTC Watch support, on-the-go gaming with Xbox LIVE, a whopping 16-megapixel camera (!) with a wide-angle lens. This is no ordinary phone camera, considering how it ships with autofocus capability, dual LED flash, red eye reduction, image stabilization, a backside-illuminated sensor and the all important physical camera button.
Not only that, there is also a far more ordinary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera just in case you want to make video calls with a loved one. Underneath the hood lies Qualcomm’s 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S2 processor that keeps the Titan II going at blazing speeds. Just to make sure that battery life is not the Titan II’s Achilles heel, it will have a rather beefy 1,730mAh lithium ion battery. There is no word on pricing as at press time though.
