For those living in Japan and who are on the lookout for a waterproof smartphone, Fujitsu will be launching the ARROWS μ F-07D this Friday, a smartphone that is not only incredibly thin at 6.7mm, but is supposedly waterproof to top it all off. According to Fujitsu, the device will feature a 4” OLED 480×800 Gorilla Glass display, a 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon processor with 512MB of RAM, 1GB of internal storage, a 5MP camera and will come loaded with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board. As with most (if not all) phones in Japan, the Fujitsu ARROWS μ F-07D will come with an e-wallet function, infrared connectivity and a digital TV tuner. No word on how much it will cost or if it will make its way stateside, but considering how Fujitsu has rarely released their handsets/tablets outside of Japan, it is very unlikely those of us living in the US will be able to get our hands on the device any time soon.
