We know that Motorola has two new Xoom tablets waiting to be released on Verizon’s network. They were originally named the Xoom 2 and Xoom 2 Media Edition, but Verizon will be rebranding them to the Droid Xyboard 10.1 and Droid Xyboard 8.2 respectively. The good news for those looking forward to either of these two new tablets is that according to Motorola, they will be launching both these two LTE capable devices on Verizon’s network some time this month by the end of the year.
Unfortunately no word pricing specific release dates, but Motorola has promised that they will be “sharing more details soon”. Hopefully this will be launched in time for Christmas as we’re sure that there are many out there who wouldn’t mind getting their hands on the Droid Xyboards as a Christmas present.
