Superbowl coming to Verizon’s Android powered smartphones

Fans of football will be pleased to hear that Verizon and the NFL have teamed up together to stream the Superbowl on the internet as well as onto the official NFC app for Android smartphones. As you can imagine, the catch here is that you need to be a Verizon subscriber if you wish to stream the Superbowl on your Android smartphone via Verizon’s NFL app.

Just like you would have expected from the regular television broadcast of the Superbowl, the NFL app will provide multi camera angle coverage, game highlights, live stats and even Superbowl commercials. Can’t say I’m a huge football fan but we’re guessing that football fanatics who might be missing out on the action come February 5th will have another source from which they can catch the game.
