Samsung’s Galaxy Note was announced a few months back during IFA 2011, and while the rest of the world has been busying enjoying the device, those of us stateside have yet to get our hands on the 5.3” phone/tablet hybrid. Well the good news is that it seems the device is rather popular overseas and has since shipped over 1 million units since its October launch. Granted this isn’t its actual sales, but it could be an indication of its popularity or how well Samsung anticipates it will do. Even better news is that Samsung themselves have confirmed that the device will be arriving for the US market in the near future, although no specific dates were mentioned nor which carrier the device would be partnered up with. FCC filings and rumors however have pointed at a possible AT&T release, so check back with us in the future for more information.
