Looking forward to the next-generation Meizu MX? Well if you are and you happen to live in China where the Meizu MX is currently available, the good news is that the successor to the device could very well be a quad-core powered beast. How do we know this? Well, it seems that Meizu’s CEO Jack Wong revealed his plans to fans over the Meizu forums. He also revealed that the successor to the MX is expected to land some time in May 2012 and will be powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Given how the current Meizu MX will only see about a half year life cycle by May 2012, we’re not sure why Jack Wong is revealing this information so soon, or why do they see the need for a successor not even a year later. Either way we’ll be keeping an eye out for this, so stay tuned.
