Otterbox case for the Galaxy Nexus available from Verizon, but where’s the phone?

Now the Galaxy Nexus on Verizon isn’t out yet but it seems that Otterbox has already prepped a rugged case for the handset if and when it is released. These cases ought to do the trick if you’re the type with butter fingers or have kids who love to play with your phone constantly. Oddly enough it appears that even though Verizon is selling these Otterbox cases for the Galaxy Nexus, Otterbox’s own website has yet to list the Defender series of cases for the Galaxy Nexus.

If you plan on picking up the Galaxy Nexus for yourself, rumor has it that December the 15th is the new favorite rumored date, so we guess it couldn’t hurt if you decided to start shopping for accessories a bit early.
