Nokia Windows Phone users will now have easy access to exclusive Nokia apps that announced for Nokia phones during the launch of the Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 a few months ago. Appearing as a separate section on the Windows Marketplace, the Nokia-only section has been seen under the name “Nokia Collection” as well as “Apps from Nokia”. It looks like the update hasn’t been rolled out to everybody yet as there are reports of the section not being available on some devices. At the moment the store features Nokia Maps, Contacts Transfer, WRC Live, TuneIn Radio and App Highlights.
This puts Nokia up there with other manufacturers who have their own stores as well (LG, Samsung, HTC etc), but you can expect a lot more Nokia-only apps to pop up on the Nokia Marketplace in the future.
