The Motorola DROID Xyboard has been announced by Verizon, and is slated to arrive sometime later this month in the US but if you want to take a look at it beforehand, you’re in luck. The folks over at Techno Buffalo have managed to get their hands on the tablet in the UK (where it’s called the XOOM 2) and subjected it to an unboxing video. The tablet’s appearance might not appeal to everybody but I think the oddly cut corners are pretty interesting.
The 10.1″ IPS display looks gorgeous, and the tablet is definitely responsive to the touch. However it’s worth noting that it doesn’t come with a microSD card slot so you’ll be stuck with the amount of memory you pay for.
