LG Prada 3.0 Android smartphone launched in South Korea

While the LG Prada 3.0 phone will only be seeing a launch in Europe come February 2012, the good news for the fashion-conscious in South Korea the Prada 3.0 Android smartphone will be available today from local carriers SK Telecom and TK.

A brief recap for those who might have forgotten, the Prada 3.0 is the third phone that is a result of a collaboration between LG and Prada. The device will feature a 4.3” 800×480 display with a dual-core 1GHz processor on board with Android Gingerbread 2.3 running the show. It will also feature 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot for memory expansion, an 8MP that is capable of shooting videos at 1080p Full HD quality.

The device will be priced at ₩889,800 with a contract which roughly translates to $776. Granted it does not feature the most amazing hardware specs, but we’re guessing its uniqueness plus the Prada branding might have contributed to its price. No word on when the device will land stateside and how much it is expected to cost then.
