Galaxy Nexus available in Canada on Bell and Virgin Mobile

While the rest of us in the US are still impatiently awaiting the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, it appears that our neighbors up North have already gotten their hands on the device. Yup, it appears that both Bell and Virgin Mobile in Canada have the Galaxy Nexus up for sale and will be available at $159 on a three year contract, or at $649.99 unlocked.

We have to wonder what’s taking Verizon so long to get the handset out to their customers, customers who are willing to throw their money at the carrier just for the handset. The original rumor suggested an 8th of December release, but was then pushed to the 9th, but as we reported earlier, it appears that the 9th is now a no-go. It looks like those living stateside have no choice but to either turn to gray market imports or play the waiting game.
