AT&T and Verizon testing 4G LTE capable Nokia Lumia 800?
Now we know that the current version of the Lumia 800 does not support 4G LTE but supposedly this is an LTE version that has been built with the express purpose of getting carrier approval. This is especially important due to the fact that Windows Phone devices are not as popular as Android or iOS, so having 4G LTE connectivity could encourage a higher rate of adoption.
Naturally both carriers declined to comment on this. There is no word if and when Nokia plans to roll out an LTE capable device, but we do know that Nokia has plans to launch their Windows Phone devices stateside next year, so here’s hoping that the Lumia 800 for the US market will come with 4G LTE connectivity.
