Some Amazon Kindle Fire owners have reported several bugs that has been plaguing their tablet which was enough for Amazon to sit up and take notice. The company has since released an update that should bump your Kindle Fire’s version from 6.2 to 6.2.1, which seems to suggest a minor, albeit important, update.

According to Amazon, the changes in the 6.2.1 update should bring about enhancement for fluidity and performance, improved touch navigation response, added option to choose which items are displayed on the carousel and adds the ability to add a password lock on WiFi access.

Not the most major update you can find but according to feedback from various sources regarding the update, many are finding that the UI does seem more fluid along with the touchscreen being a lot more responsive compared to before. For more information regarding the update or for further instructions, head on down to Amazon’s website.
