Verizon’s Galaxy Nexus gets pictured and receives Android 4.0.2 update

It appears that there are some Galaxy Nexus owners out there on Verizon’s network as pictured above. We’re guessing that this guy probably got his hands on the device perhaps as a beta tester to see how it would hold up on Verizon’s network, but whatever the case, it has been reported that Verizon’s Galaxy Nexus has received an update to ICS 4.0.2.

Unfortunately it is not known what was fixed in the update, perhaps just some minor fixes that could have delayed the Galaxy Nexus launch on Verizon’s network, or it could even be a fix that resolves the volume button bug that has been plaguing some Galaxy Nexus owners in Europe.

Either way it is possible that the Galaxy Nexus could be launched with ICS 4.0.2, but as to when that remains a mystery. So far the 8th of December date is holding up pretty well, so we will wait and see if that will come to fruition.
