Verizon’s Galaxy Nexus comes with bloatware

Google’s Nexus devices were meant to deliver the Android experience in its purest form, namely in the form that Google had originally intended for it to be. This means that there will be no customized UIs and such, but it appears to Verizon’s Galaxy Nexus will be different.

As you can see in the photo above, the Galaxy Nexus for Verizon has come loaded with some carrier bloatware. Granted it’s only two applications, the fact that the device should have come without them in the first place might prove to be an issue for some of Verizon’s potential customers. Luckily for us Ice Cream Sandwich allows for the disabling of apps, which while doesn’t actually remove the apps from the phone, disables them and the resources that it takes up.

Will these apps make it into Verizon’s release, or was this just a screenshot of an early build for Verizon? Well, until Verizon actually releases the device, we’ll just have to assume that the phone will come preloaded with carrier bloatware.
