It looks like kids will finally be able to get in on the Android fun too, thanks to a joint effort by FUHU and Toys R Us. Together they have produced a kids Android tablet, dubbed the Nabi Tablet, that will feature fun and educational apps on top of a customized “kiddie” user interface. Adults can also choose to use this tablet as their own personal tablet by unlocking it, providing them with a more traditional Android tablet experience.

In terms of specs, don’t expect to be blown away by quad-core processors and Super AMOLED displays, although surprisingly the Nabi Tablet will sport a 533MHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor under the hood, with a PowerVR SGX530 GPU for 3D gaming, 4GB of internal storage along with a 3,000mAh battery that is said to provide up to 5 hours worth of non-stop gaming.

The Nabi Tablet will also feature its own app store which contains about 500 apps worth of downloads for your child. The tablet will set parents back $200 and is expected to start shipping from Toys R Us come 1st December.
