Is Nokia working on LTE capable Lumia 800?

If you’re living in the US and you’re feeling a bit annoyed at Nokia for delaying the launch of their Windows Phone devices for the US market, here’s something to think about. Apparently word has it that Nokia delayed their US launch because they wanted to make an entrance into the US market with a bang, by launching the Nokia Lumia 800 with 4G LTE capabilities.

Now we know at the moment that Windows Phone 7.5 does not support LTE, and we know that Microsoft has plans to bring LTE capabilities to their OS, and Nokia has recently announced that they do have plans for LTE capable WP handsets, which seems to make sense when it is all put together.

We don’t know when Microsoft will roll out the LTE update for Windows Phone, but with Nokia’s plans to bring the Lumia 800 into the US early next year, we expect the update to hit some time before then. What do you guys think? Does it sound plausible?
