HTE is a HTC Sense knockoff

Well here’s an interesting knock off if we’ve ever seen one. Dubbed the HTE, it appears to feature HTC’s own Sense UI along with Sprint’s 4G technology, or so the branding on the back is claiming although we do have our doubts. No word on its hardware but based on the look of the phone we can’t say that we’re too impressed to begin with.

China has been known for putting out knock off devices, some look like the genuine article while some, like the HTE, look like some sort of crossbreed between HTC and what appears to be a Sony Ericsson-like design. We’re guessing that the HTE will probably come cheap too which is a good thing for those in developing countries who may not be able to afford the higher end models.
