HTC confirms Ice Cream Sandwich for several of their devices

HTC users will be pleased to know that the company has confirmed the Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 update for several of their devices. These include the HTC Vivid, HTC Sensation XL, HTC Sensation XE, HTC Rezound, HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO Design 4G and the HTC Amaze 4G.

This list is by no means a definite list, and we’re guessing that perhaps over time more devices will be added, but for now users who own the above mentioned devices will rest assured knowing that they will be able to run on the latest build of Android. With Ice Cream Sandwich to be released in the next several months, many users of older Android devices have been worried whether their devices will be getting the update.

Other companies like Motorola and Sony Ericsson have already outed the devices that will get the ICS update, so now we will be able to add HTC to that list.
