Acer A510 quad-core tablet to debut at CES 2012

By the end of 2011, we should be able to expect two quad-core tablets – the ASUS Transformer Prime and Lenovo’s 10.1” offering. Acer however will also be releasing a quad-core tablet of their own but unfortunately it looks like it will only be made available come 2012, where it is expected to debut at CES.

The device has been dubbed the Acer A510 (with the 3G version dubbed as the A511), and in terms of specs we can expect NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 quad-core processor to be running the show. It will also sport a screen resolution of 1280×800, Bluetooth 2.0 and WiFi capabilities. It will run on an unknown version of Android, although we’re hoping and guessing that it will most likely be Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.

At the moment this is pretty much all that is known about the device, but if it going to be unveiled at CES 2012, we can expect more details to surface as the date closes in on us.
