2011 Sony Ericsson Xperia phones to receive Ice Cream Sandwich update

Good news Sony Ericsson owners, if you own any of Sony Ericsson’s Xperia handsets from 2011, you guys will be eligible for to receive the Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 update. For those wondering, the range of 2011 Xperia Android handsets includes the Xperia arc, arc S, Xperia Play, Xperia neo and neo V, Xperia mini and mini pro, Xperia pro, Xperia active, Xperia ray and the Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman.

No word on when this update will be rolled out but at least we know that Sony Ericsson has plans for these devices. Sony Ericsson has stated that more information regarding timing and global availability will be released in due time, so check back soon and we will keep you informed!
