Good news Sprint and Verizon subscribers, if you were hoping to get your hands on an unlocked iPhone 4S on contract, that may very well be possible. While Apple has plans to offer an unlocked iPhone 4S in November, Sprint and Verizon subscribers with iPhone 4S contracts already will be pleased to know that Sprint will be offering unlocked micro SIM iPhone 4S, while Verizon will be able to offer their subscribers and unlocked iPhone 4S after 60 days, assuming that you’re in good standing with the carrier (i.e. no late payments or unpaid bills).
There is no word from AT&T if they plan to offer similar services, but considering that Sprint is now offering unlocked iPhone 4S’s on contract, it should be able to attract new subscribers over to their side.
