Siine launches icon-based keyboard for Android

If Swype is not doing it for you, a new keyboard app for Android called Siine could be something worth checking out. Unlike your traditional keyboard made out of letters and numbers, Siine’s app, the Siine Writer, uses icons (called Siines, or pronounced as signs) that allow you to type out phrases quickly as opposed to spelling it out one letter at a time.

The app comes with default icons preloaded, but apparently the beauty behind this app is its ability to customize the icons to something you’re more familiar with. It sounds like a good idea although we’re not sure how many people will be eager to adopt this new style of typing.
