iPhone case manufacturer convinced there will be a redesign

Apple’s iPhone event is upon us in a matter of hours, and it looks like there’s some last minute speculation and rumors. This time it appears that one case manufacturer, Hard Candy, seems downright convinced that the next-generation iPhone will sport a redesign, despite evidence and leaked components that suggest otherwise.

In fact, they’re so convinced that they apparently are producing 50,000 such cases and sending them out to stores. However based on the specifications that they have received, they either know something that the rest of us don’t, or someone has given them some bad intel.

According to the specs, Hard Candy’s iPhone cases are expected to house an iPhone with a 4.44” display, an elongated home button and a tapered design.
