iOS 5 now available

There seems to be a lot of software updates today, but we think this is probably the biggest one yet. If you’re an iPhone user and you have yet to check for updates, you should probably do so now as iOS 5 is now live!

iOS 5 will be bringing about all the new features that you would have heard about at the WWDC announcement, with it being reiterated during the iPhone 4S announcement. Basically iOS users should be able to look forward to iMessage, Twitter integration, News Stand, an updated camera app, iCloud, a new notifications center and wireless syncing to name a few.

However there have been reports of several users experiencing data loss, ranging from complete wipes (like myself) and to data loss of more recent files. Granted backing up your data is a must, but this is a problem that shouldn’t even have happened to begin with. If you’re not too impatient, probably waiting a few days might help as Apple might release a more stable update.
