With Apple launching Siri, Google not to be left out has recently updated their Google Translate app for Android to version 2.2, adding support for an additional 12 languages, thus expanding their speech-to-speech repertoire, which allows for Conversation Mode, which much like Siri, allows the user to have a “conversation” with their Android handset with their voice. If this sounds like something you could get on board with, or if you’re an Android user looking for an alternative to Siri, head on down to the Android Market to download the updated app.
