We know that Google has plans to launch a music store of their own, probably hoping to rival and beat out Apple’s iTunes, which has proved to be a popular choice for users looking to download music/movies onto their iOS devices. It looks like the launch of Google’s music store could be closer than we think as evidence has surfaced in the Google Music Beta Android app.
As you can see in the screen shot above, there’s a bit about shopping for songs in the Android Market, although it appears that the link doesn’t work yet, but it will be interesting to see what Google has planned, especially since they mentioned a possible “twist”.
