Android users, if you were feeling a little neglected because of the iPhone 4S, not to worry as AT&T has announced five new Android phones for you to choose from. They are the Motorola Atrix 2, Samsung Captivate Glide, AT&T Avail, Pantech Pocket and the Samsung DoubleTime.

Starting with the Samsung Captivate Glide (pictured above), users can expect a smartphone with a slideout QWERTY keyboard with NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 dual-core processor under the hood. It will sport 1GB of RAM, an 8MP camera capable of 1080p HD video recording, a 1.3MP front-facing camera and a 4” Super AMOLED display with Android’s Gingerbread 2.3 on board.

Next up is the Motorola Atrix 2, which sports a dual-core processor along with an 8MP camera capable of shooting 1080p HD video recording. It too will come with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a 4.3” qHD display, and Gingerbread 2.3.

Now if you’re shopping on a budget, AT&T will be offering the Samsung DoubleTime, which based on its specs isn’t a smartphone that will be burning a hole in your wallet any time soon. Customers should expect a 600MHz processor with a 3.2” HVGA display along with Android’s Froyo 2.2. It will also come bundled with a free 2GB microSD card.

Next will be the Pantech Pocket, which based on its design is a rather unique looking phone. It will feature a 4” SVGA display, a 5MP camera, a microSD card slot and will run on Android’s Gingerbread 2.3.

Last but not least is the AT&T Avail, which is a phone by ZTE and was designed for AT&T’s  prepaid brand. Expect a 3.5” display with a 5MP camera, 512MB of RAM and a microSD card (2GB comes preinstalled) and Android’s Gingerbread 2.3 on board.
