Apple pre-orders start 7th October 12:01am PT

Can’t wait to get your hands on Apple’s newly announced iPhone 4S? As we had mentioned earlier, the device will start rolling out come 14th October, but come 7th of October you will be able to start placing your pre-orders (at least for US, UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany and Japan). According to Apple reps, the pre-orders will start 12:01am Pacific Time.

As for the rest of the world, 22 more countries will start receiving the iPhone come 28th October, although no word on when those countries will be able to start placing their pre-orders. We guess this isn’t as big an upgrade as the rumored iPhone 5 was speculated to bring to the table, i.e. redesign hardware, but for those still running on the iPhone 3G or 3GS, this looks like it should do the trick.
