4 million iPhone 4S’ sold over the weekend

I will have to admit that I wasn’t really a huge fan of the iPhone 4S when it was first announced. Based on all the rumors and speculation, I was really looking forward to a redesigned iPhone 5, and based on the responses back then, I wasn’t the only one who felt that way.

However those sentiments have since passed and if you’re wondering how well the iPhone 4S is doing for itself, the 1 million pre-orders on the first day itself should be enough to clue you in. However if that wasn’t enough, Apple has announced that they have managed to sell 4 million units between last Friday and Saturday night, a number that is double that of the iPhone 4! With such a huge demand, we will have to wonder if Apple will be able to keep the iPhone 4S in stock.
