Good news for Samsung fans, the company has just announced that they have developed a new Exynos SOC. It was developed using the 32nm High-K Metal Gate low-power process which means it should be 30% more power efficient than its predecessor. As far as speed is concerned, the Exynos 4212 is a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor that is clocked at a 1.5GHz.
The company is expected to start sampling the processors to select companies come Q4 2011, but if the rumors about the Nexus Prime are to be believed, this could be the processor that will be making its way into the rumored device.
