ROM for HTC EVO 3D brings Beats Audio technology

Beats Audio technology, while some may consider to be a novelty feature, will be one of the selling points in upcoming HTC phones. Given how we rely on our phones these days to listen to music, we guess that having good audio quality makes a world of difference, but unfortunately Beats Audio integration can only be found in later HTC handsets.

Well, that’s what developers are for, right? XDA forum member, Virus, has successfully created a ROM for the HTC EVO 3D which apparently ports over the Sensation XE’s Beats Audio integration into the EVO 3D. The ROM has been built from ground up to allow for compatibility on Sprint’s network, so if you’re a HTC EVO 3D user with a rooted handset, head on down to the XDA forums for more information and for the download.
