Pantech Jest headed Verizon’s way

If regular smartphones aren’t your thing, or perhaps the designs don’t really catch your eye, Verizon has announced the Pantech Jest handset, which by all accounts appears to be a feature phone but with a QWERTY slider design, which we think will be great for those who love texting.

Not much can be said about the device apart from its 2.4” display and a 2MP camera along with various Verizon services, such as V CAST Tones and VZNavigator. It is expected to be released 29th September and will set you back a mere $79.99 (after rebate) for a new two year contract.
