Man creates 23″ Android tablet

Is bigger always better? Well why not, and in the case of Martin Drashkov, it seems that regular sized tablets, even those in the 10.1” variety were enough to satisfy his craving which was why he set out to create his very own 23” Android tablet dubbed the MegaPad.

Sourced out of parts he found himself, it cost him a total of $600 to make, which given the price of high-end tablets really doesn’t seem very expensive! The end result appears to be running on a multi-touch display with an Acer chassis, a GPU that is capable of 3D graphics while running on Android Gingerbread 2.3.

We’re not sure what processor was used or RAM available, but it seems to be able to run Google Earth and play Fruit Ninja just fine. For more information you can head on down to Martin’s website.
