HTC Merge gets Gingerbread update

HTC Merge users on US Cellular, it looks like Gingerbread 2.3 has finally arrived on your device! The update has brought about improved power management and should be able to extend your battery life due to efficient power management. There are some UI refinements, more control over your apps, a better text interface and one-touch word selection and copy/paste. It even comes with a new Flashlight app that utilizes your camera’s LED flash.
