Are mobile payments your thing? Are you a fan of paying for your purchases directly from your smartphone as opposed to paying by cash or using a credit/debit card? Well I’m sure most of you guys are already aware of Google’s mobile payment service, Google Wallet. It was announced several months back but there was no word on when it was going to be launched. Now the good news for those eagerly anticipating the ease and convenience NFC payment methods will bring to you, according to a leaked documentation, Google Wallet will be launching on the 19th of September, which is today!
At the moment it appears that the Samsung Nexus S 4G is the only handset compatible with Google Wallet, although there will be a sticker product that supposedly will bring NFC capabilities to other phones, although there has been no word if that will be available during the launch. I guess we will have to wait and see! Anyone else excited about Google Wallet?
