With Verizon rapidly rolling out 4G LTE coverage over the past few months, it looks like AT&T will be playing catch up as they have just rolled out 4G LTE coverage to five major cities – Chicago, Atlanta, San Antonio, Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston. Granted it doesn’t seem like much, nor does it seem like the rural areas have been covered either, but I guess the good news for AT&T subscribers is that it’s finally happening, and it’s only a matter of time before the 4G LTE coverage expands to their area. AT&T has also promised to expand 4G LTE coverage to an additional 15 major metropolitan areas by the year’s end.
