Android Ice Cream Sandwich to feature facial recognition software?

According to reports, a certain application called “FaceLock.apk” was allegedly leaked from a Nexus Prime device. As the name suggests, it looks like facial recognition technology could be in Android’s upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich, which looks like it could be used to lock/unlock our phones.

Considering that Google has launched Google Wallet, we’re guessing that the Nexus Prime will also feature Google Wallet functionality, which means there’s more reason to have a more secure method of unlocking our handsets, such as through the use of facial recognition.
