TeamSpeak beta now available for Android

Anyone play RTS or MMO games? If you do, you’re probably familiar with the programs Ventrilo and TeamSpeak. If you’re not, the mentioned programs allow groups of players to communicate with each other. It’s sort of like Skype but because they tend to be more lightweight, gamers prefer them over the more memory intensive Skype.

Anyway the good news is that TeamSpeak has just released a beta version of their app on the Android Market. The app is free for now while it is in beta although we’re not sure if they plan to charge a fee after the beta has ended. The features look to be pretty similar to the PC version of the software, and will come with push-to-talk capabilities along with voice activation among other features.
