Sony S2 to be named Tablet P

As most of you guys should be aware, Sony has plans to launch two new tablets, which have been codenamed the S1 and S2, with the S2 being a clamshelled tablet. We reported last week that Sony would be naming the S1 tablet the Tablet S, and now we know that the S2 will be called the Tablet P.

Can’t say that we’re terribly impressed with the names but in terms of specs, the Tablet P is said to feature 512MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage and will be running on NVidia’s Tegra-2 dual-core processor. It also reportedly will sport AT&T’s HSPA+ connectivity.
