Sony S1 and S2 tablets to come shipped with only Honeycomb 3.0?

Interested in getting your hands on the Sony S1 and S2 tablets? The good news is that if you don’t live in the major release markets such as US and Europe, according to Sony’s press release, the S1 and S2 tablets will be going global, which means at some point in time when the tablets do launch, you should be able to get them in your country.

Unfortunately the bad news is that the tablets will come shipped with Android Honeycomb 3.0, which is a little disappointing given that Honeycomb 3.2 is already available, but who knows, perhaps we may see it launch with 3.2 after all, but for now be prepared for 3.0, just in case.

Expect to see the tablets fully revealed at IFA Berlin this fall.
