Smart Cover Mate for the iPad 2 protects the back of your device

iPad 2 owners out there should be familiar with Apple’s Smart Cover, which basically protects your iPad 2’s screen but also thanks to its bendable design, allows it to double up as a stand to prop up your iPad 2 for watching movies or surfing the web.

While it does offer protection of your device’s screen to a certain degree, there is the question about the protection of the back of your iPad 2. Sure your tablet may look great with a scratch-free screen but turn it around and suddenly all the scratches are visible; not a very pretty sight, which is what the Smart Cover Mate is attempting to do.
