Samsung Infuse 4G to get Gingerbread this month

Samsung Infuse 4G owners, good news! It appears that according to a tweet by AT&T, the device is slated for a Gingerbread update this month although it does not seem to specific when exactly the release is.

The good news is that given it’s already mid of August, Infuse 4G owners should not have to wait much longer for the update to roll out to them. It’s good that more and more devices are seeing Gingerbread 2.3 updates, especially given our post earlier about a new Android malware that seems to be be affecting only Froyo 2.2 as Gingerbread 2.3 took care of the security flaw that allowed the malware to do what it does.
