Samsung event on the 29th of August to reveal Galaxy S II?

It seems that Samsung has been sending out invites for an event come 29th of August. While we can’t confirm what exactly will be going down on the 29th, we have a feeling that it may very well be the Samsung Galaxy S II as the invite pictured above seems the imply. Now it’s no secret that the device will be making its way to the US albeit a bit later than the rest of the world, and there have been many Samsung devices popping up that many are calling Galaxy S II variants.

It can’t be confirmed that those phones are indeed Galaxy S II variants but come 29th of August, perhaps some (if not all) of those devices will be confirmed.
