If you’re a fan of id Software and their games, then you’re probably familiar with their Rage HD game that can be found on the iPad. For those unfamiliar, Rage HD is a first person shooter that is running on id Software’s Tech 5 engine. If you own an iPad 2, you will be pleased to know that id Software recently launched an update for Rage HD, bringing it up to version 1.21 and has been recompiled and optimized for iOS 4 in mind.
It now features updated graphics and compatibility for 1080p HDMI TV output. It also brings with a new gameplay style that allows you to simply shake your iPad to engage in melee attacks and options to enable an analog thumbstick control.
