Nokia to include NFC in all future devices

While NFC has yet to be widely adopted in the US, it looks like Nokia has decided to hop aboard the NFC bandwagon by announcing that they will be adding NFC support in future handsets.

However given that Nokia’s standing in the US has not been that great compared to other countries such as developing countries n Asia, hopefully the addition of NFC to their future handsets will start to see an increase in their popularity, especially if and when NFC becomes standardized.

NFC, however, is popular in countries such as Japan and South Korea where it has been integrated into pretty much everything including train passes, making purchases etc, so if Nokia has plans on launching WP7 devices in Japan, we could very well start seeing Nokia come back from a slump.
