Logitech launches Bluetooth mouse for Android tablets

Keyboard cases for tablets are aplenty these days, which in effect transforms your tablet into a pseudo-computer of sorts. Given the hardware of tablets, in some instances sporting dual-core processors and display that could rival that of regular monitors, it’s not surprising to see that many are turning to tablets for their computing needs instead of a laptop/netbook.

If you are such a user, then you probably realize that it’s not exactly convenient to type on a keyboard and use the touchscreen to navigate which is why Logitech has released a mouse targeted at Android users.

Said to work with Android tablets running on Honeycomb 3.1 or higher, the mouse will pair to the device via Bluetooth and will feature a 30 foot range, which seems pretty unnecessary given that you won’t be able to see your device’s screen from 30 feet away. It will also cost you $49.99 although some have reported that there’s nothing in the mouse that makes it specially for Android, which means that any Bluetooth mouse should be able to work.

Anyone else already using Bluetooth mice with their tablets that can agree to that statement?
