Do you update your apps frequently on your iOS device? If you do, you’re probably annoyed by how whenever you update or install a new app, it will automatically kick you out of the iTunes App Store and back to the home screen. This can be quite troublesome and annoying especially if there was some browsing you wanted to do or apps you wanted to downloaded, but it appears that in the latest build of iOS 5, your apps can be updated “in place”, meaning it will act like the Mac App Store where you will remain in the store while your app updates in the background.
However it seems that updating all your apps at one go will return you back to the home screen as per normal. I guess it’s a minor update, but personally I have found reverting back to the home screen per app install can be quite annoying, so l guess this latest build of iOS 5 will be solving that problem in the future when the OS has been released for the public.
