HP TouchPad limited production run only for North America

The HP TouchPad has sold out and rightfully so. The good (and rather weird) news is that HP has decided to produce one last batch of TouchPads to appease those who weren’t quick or fortunate enough to get their hands on the $99 base model.

Unfortunately it appears that this last production run will be limited to only North America, which means that those of you living outside of the US will not be given a second chance to get your hands on the device, short of getting a friend in the US to buy it for you or resorting to eBay, which we’re guessing will definitely set you back more than $99.
