It seems that Google has recently acquired Dealmaps, which is a great way for locating Groupon and LivingSocial deals on a daily basis and that are available in your surrounding area. What this could mean is that Google could very well start to incorporate this feature into their Android based smartphones, perhaps find a way to integrate it with Google Maps. If that were to happen, consumers who are always on the lookout for great deals will definitely be pleased if such a feature were to arrive on their Android devices.
No word on what Google has planned for Dealmaps but given its location based services, it would not be much of a stretch to imagine some sort of integration with Google Maps in the near future, and hopefully our cellphones too?
